Headline and core inflation measures printed in line with market expectations, the latter remains stuck at 3.3% Y/y while the former accelerated to 2.6%.

Used car prices recorded the largest monthly increase in October, up 2.72%. Other price gainers were fuel oil and transportation services.
The Cable FX Macro U.S. Inflation Surprise Index stabilized in October, however, the gauge remains positive. No price measure came in below estimates.
