• The September projections point to a world GDP growth of 5.7% for 2021 and a rate of 4.5% in 2022. The former was revised lower from a previous 5.8%

• In the first graph, we highlight the magnitude of the revisions vs. the May economic outlook. For 2021, Canada (-1.2), Mexico (-1.1), and Saudi Arabia (-0.7) were the most downgraded. China was the most upgraded, in line with the revisions seen from Brazil (+1.5)
