We saw manufacturing jobs decline by 4K vs the consensus median of +10K and the prior +19K, the unemployment rate ticked higher to 3.6% from a prior 3.4%
We also saw some softness from the financial sector as it posted a decline in jobs for the first time since February 2021. The sector added jobs for 23 consecutive months, the latest read printed a shed of 1.0K jobs
