Mexican Inflation for the first half of July came in at 0.37% for headline and 0.31% for core, both above UBS expectations and consensus
INEGI showed the July 1H increase was largely driven by energy prices and processed foods
UBS wrote in a note that after the July inflation prints, Banxico doves are likely to accept 25bps hikes in each of the four remaining meetings this year.
That would leave the Banxico policy rate at 5.25% by the end of the year.
