Another week of Gilt yield moves that makes us double check if these aren't quarterly recordings. The U.K. sovereign curve was bid as gilt yields dropped, with double-digit declines were recorded from 1-yr to 30-yr rates.
U.K. 30-yr yield dropped by a massive 72 basis points on the week, the largest ever recorded.
The U.S. Treasury curve inversion flattened as 10-yr yields rose by almost 20bps, the 30-yr yield increased by 34.4bps. Rates now stand above the 4.0% mark across the curve, the 2-yr yield reached the highest level since 2007, the 5-yr yield topped 4.5% for the first time in more than a decade, however, it ended the week at 4.343%
