• The Japanese yen led the group for most part of last week, USD/JPY was resilient to yen strength, however, it ended close to the bottom of the group. Yen advanced by 3.6% on the week vs the USD

• The second-strongest currency this week was the NZD, the kiwi posted gains of 2.5% to the dollar as it recorded a seventh consecutive week of gains

• The Canadian dollar was the only currency to post losses vs the dollar this week, the CAD fell by 0.65%
