The consensus median expects the U.S. economy to outperform all developed nations this year, GDP is penciled at 2.0% before slowing to 1.7% in 2025
No other G10 country forecast comes close to U.S. expansion, the Australian economy is expected to rise 1.4% while more than half of the group is seen growing by less than 1.0% in 2024
Looking ahead, all major countries are seen rebounding next year except for the U.S., economists project the N.Z. economy rising by 2.2% in 2025 vs 1.0% this year
