The ISM January manufacturing index fell by 1.2 percentage points to the lowest since November 2020 as 6 out of 11 main indexes posted declines. One key highlight is the prices paid index, which bounced by 7.9pp after falling 14pp in December, ISM noted that supplier pricing power continues to rise.
