⚖️🇺🇸U.S. 2-Year Yield Rises By Most Since Mid-July: Cable FX Macro

  • The U.S. 2-year yield is now up 11.3bs, the rise is the largest seen in three months, last at 5.212%. The 2s10s curve inversion had a volatile session as it steepened by 7.0bps before paring the move to only 1.3bps, last at -37.964bps

  • The 30-year yield is rising by 7.8bps on the day to 4.928%, off its best levels

  • The U.S. 10-year yield is now close to testing its YTD highs of 4.8852%, last at 4.8320%

  • 2s5s10s fly is higher by 6.6bps to -31.1bps as the belly of the curve underperforms

  • 5y and 10y breakevens rise on the day by 1.9 and 2.6bps, respectively
