Stocks traded softer on Thursday session, pre-open trading sent E-mini futures lower as the U.S. warned on a possible Russia invasion to Ukraine and claimed reports of troop pullbacks were false.
Broad index trading saw only 14.5% of stocks higher on the day, Consumer Staples was the only sector to finish the day in the green. Losses were led by Tech and Communication Svcs at -3.06% and -2.96%, respectively
The S&P gave the 4,400 point level and closed at the lowest level in three-weeks
