The February jobs report showed the U.S. participation rate rising to 62.5%, this is the highest since March 2020, however, it has not fully recovered to the pre-pandemic read of 63.3%
U.S. participation rate among the 25-54 yr group is now back to match levels before the pandemic, the February figure rose to 81.9% from a prior 81.7%
In the 55Yr and above group, we had seen a sharp recovery heading into early 2022, this has now reversed completely as the metric fell to 38.4% from the prior 38.7%
