Financial conditions eased on the week, an index tracking the U.S. rose to the highest since February 2022, according to data provided by Bloomberg
Risk assets remain above their 52-week averages, while volatility dipped to pre-pandemic levels
U.S. bond market gauges of financial conditions supported the move, both high-yield and junk credit spreads stand near the lowest levels in the year
The developments are worth keeping in mind as we head into the FOMC meeting. A lack of progress in monetary conditions tightening is likely to keep the Fed in check
