šŸŒšŸ”ŗ Equities Led First Quarter EM Inflows: J.P. Morgan

EM local bonds had net non-resident inflows mainly into Indonesia (+$500mn), which masked outflows from Hungary (-$63mn). EM equities also attracted inflows, mainly into Taiwan (+$949mn) and Indonesia (+$187mn), which masked outflows from Korea (-$323mn) and Brazil (-$157mn).

Overall fund inflows increased to the largest level in five weeks (+$1.9bn, from +$352mn). Inflows were observed somewhat equally across ETFs (+$1.1bn) and non-ETFs (+$843mn). Across regional funds: Asia ex-Japan had inflows (+$507mn); while Latam (-$95mn) and EMEA (-$28mn) had outflows.
