• This week the U.S. and UK CESI declined further into negative ground by 5 and 8 index points respectively

• Economic surprise indexes in the U.S. and UK had not been this low since June 2020 for the UK and May 2020 for the U.S.

• Next week, the docket sees inflation prints and retail sales for the U.S. and the UK. Also, the UK will get its latest labor report for June and July

• The Canadian CESI remains positive, however, off from the 100s prints seem back in May and June. CAD CESI had a marginal move of only 3 index points this week and it is flat over the last 20-days
