Only 36.3% of S&P 500 companies have reported earnings so far, the Bloomberg earnings tracker dashboard shows 73.0% of companies posting positive earnings surprises while 23.4% of reports have been negative
The surprise in earnings estimates is looking better than the previous quarter. However, earnings revisions have not matched the previous quarter
On the EPS front, S&P 500 companies EPS has dropped to lowest since Q4 2020 at $54.1, expected growth has now turned negative at -3.3%
