Quick snapshot on the Cable FX Macro Dollar Index daily performance. The index has seen two-way swings over the last couple of weeks, however, Friday tends to be the dollar's best day of the week
Friday records the highest share of upside daily closes at 70% of the time, this is shared with an average daily close of 0.13%, the highest on the week
Looking at a distribution of returns, Friday continues to be skewed towards downside performance. This is not surprising given the softness in recent dollar trading, however, if there is a day we see the index pare back losses, this tends to be Friday
