🧮IMM Positioning: Leveraged Funds Turned Net Long On NZD

  • The latest weekly COT data showed leveraged funds turning net long on NZD contracts, the latest value indicated a position of 4.3K contracts. The percentage of open interest in NZD contracts rose to 9.2%, a move of +13.3pp, % of OI in the kiwi is now at the highest since late June

  • Dollar % of OI fell marginally to 5.3%, net positioning in the dollar remains net long, however, the latest data showed kiwi and pound recording long positioning vs the dollar, while the euro net short was trimmed to the lowest since late May
