All composite indexes declined in December preliminary readings, the largest slowdown was seen in the U.K. PMI, 53.2 vs. previous 57.7
Without getting much into the details of the release, the Germany preliminary figure showed composite slowing down to the lowest since June 2020 at 50 vs prev. 52.2
The broad European figures saw weakness, with the softening being most evident in the Svcs PMI at 53.3 vs. 55.9, composite printed at 53.4
The U.S. figures continued to be the most resilient, composite at 56.9 vs prev. 57.2, services at 57.5 vs prev. 58
